(More customer reviews)I recently bought another Alvarez-Yairi DY73CS to replace the one I bought and then sold years ago. But the "new" guitar just didn't have the tone I recalled from the earlier guitar, with big bass and bright, silky highs. No matter the strings, I was disappointed.
When I heard about the release of Red strings, and their claims to provide full bass along with crystal highs. Given the low price, I couldn't not try them out. :) And they deliver everything they claim and then some. They also hold up extremely well, only dulling slightly as they aged and picked up oils and dirt from my left hand.
I couldn't be happier! Low price, full sound, long-lasting. What is there NOT to like?
