(More customer reviews)These Pro Tec gig bags are amazing. This Travel Light Trumpet Pro Pac is my second Pro Tec product (also have the flugelhorn Pro Pac). These bags are light weight and portable, like a gig bag, but offer very solid protection, like a hard case. The inside is plush and soft, and the pocket is a perfect size for mouthpieces, valve oil, bore brushes, pencils/pens etc. The zippers are very good quality, and the velcro latche will prevent accidents when one forgets to zip up the case before picking it up.
Also included is a nice shoulder strap, and a small double mouthpiece pouch with a magnetic latch, containing 2 hard plastic mouthpiece slots. The optional Deluxe Padded Backpack Strap ($20) can be configured to carry the bag "backpack style". The only surprise is that this case is a bit bigger than, for example, a Reunion Blues leather gig bag, but that extra size accounts for the added protection and space advantages that this case has over the R.B. leather bag.
