When ever my valves on my trumpet start to feel sticky, it only takes a few drops of this, and I could play for literally weeks. One of my valves, the first valve (the most commonly used one, for you non-trumpet players out there) stayed lubricated for an entire semester. This is partly because it is used, so it had less of a chance to dry up, but also because this valve oil is amazing. After using this, I would never use anything else.
