(More customer reviews)I find these to be about as good as Elixir, but it's been awhile since I had those on my guitar. These have lasted me well. I'm a string scrooge, and rarely change them until they desparately need them. I don't play heavy or every day and these have lasted about 4-6 months... even now there's only a little wear on them, but the tone has dampened a bit. They are really bright, but not as 'tinny' as Martin's which I dislike. I will definitely buy these again, but might try the GoldBronze version to see what the difference is.
