(More customer reviews)I bought these to re-string a short-scale bass I bought, an Epiphone EBO. I considered a lot of flatwound strings. However, over the years, regardless of the type of string or the application, I have relied on Rotosound for their consistency. Round-wound or flatwound, these have never failed to deliver. I have not tried the super-pricey strings like pyramids. I play these on my EBO with a Hartke VXL pedal and it sounds great.
