(More customer reviews)This Remo product is an average attempt at the tradtitional frame drum. There are some benefits in that the head will not react to cold or hot weather. For the size is suprisingly not that heavy and can be held comfortabely for extended periods of time. You really have to work it for loud doum's tek's and ka's though. If you play it in the upright position it will produce some nice finger snap tones, also for players who know how to use the whale call technique this drum respondes very nicely. Larry Salzman

The Remo Fiberskyn 3 head is pre-tuned on a 0.25 inch thick ACOUSTICON shell which will provide years of carefree play.
