(More customer reviews)I used this little light in a Malibu Lighting bollard light (12V landscape lighting) and it works well.
The brightness would be equal to a 7W halogen... a bit less than an available 10W bulb, but that was what we needed... the supplied 20W (and even a 10W) was far too bright for our use (along a line of pavers). With the brighter bulbs, it looked like an airport runway. These are appropriately dim to light the area, but not bright enough to overwhelm. I'm also looking forward to never replacing them again.
The color of the light is a bit cooler than the other "warm-white" LEDs (and a bit cooler than halogens), but not the blue-white of some LEDs. Unless you were to compare side-by-side, it'd be hard to tell the color difference, but again, the bollards have a unique design where the light is thrown to a frosted glass reflector. If you were using them as spots, the color difference might be more noticeable.
The shipping from LED wholesalers was quicker than expected -- about 4 days (placed the order on a Saturday, received on a Wednesday).
