(More customer reviews)This is a great little case for travel or storage. Gig bags offer little protection from impacts and hard cases tend to be heavy. The semi-hard construction of this product is an ideal middle ground; very light but with great protection. The case has two storage areas. The outer one is perfect for a chord book and song sheets (8.5x11 sheets folded in half). The inner storage compartment is the classic mid-case type with a hinged lid and pull tab familiar to any guitar player. It works well for holding a tuner, extra strings and MP3 player loaded with Brother Iz, Keola Beamer and Mana'o Company tunes. Velcro straps sit just above the instrument body. They adjust securely around the ukulele neck for added stability inside the case. The whole thing closes with a two pull zipper system. A nylon tab with velco is located under the handle to secure the zippers in transit (very nice touch). It also comes with a shoulder strap which hooks onto metal loops on the case exterior. This was purchased along with the Lanikai LU-21 Soprano Ukulele which fits nicely as should any other Soprano with standard "guitar" shaped body. I also have the tenor and baritone ukulele varieties of this case used with non-Lanikai ukes. All have the same features and are equally functional.
