(More customer reviews)I've used thes MSP3100's for 10 years on my DX1. Being light, they are a great choice for the player with small hands or for those with a weak grip. But don't let the lightness of them fool you. They are rugged strings that will last about as long as the heavier strings. The sound is bright on the high end with a rich deep base on the low end. I use these strings for playing both country music and playing gospel songs in church and I've only broken one string. But that was because I was using a pretty thick pick and played too hard. You'll want to stick to a thin pick (like .80 or so) when playing these strings.
