(More customer reviews)I teach ukulele to elementary school children. I bought 50 of these of all different colors for the first time 5 years ago. The kids used acrylic paint to put their names on them and decorate them. One important note is that ALL new ukuleles go out of tune minutes after they are tuned and keep going out of tune all the time until about two weeks. (Even the best new ukuleles go out of tune a lot the first week.) These ukuleles STAY in tune after a month. Just be patient and keep tuning them. The more times you do it each day the sooner they will keep their tune.
Their tone is actually great even for me to play. You really cannot go wrong. The price another plus.
I did buy some extra strings since now and then the kids overtightened them and they snapped and broke.
