I've seen it used in orchestras but it blends into the home decor because of it's simplicity. Great for longterm use, especially for growing young musicians. I prefer this over the portable, foldable wire stands.

Very sturdy; can be used as stick or mallet tray when the desk is placed in the horizontal postion. Width of the desk is 20"; height of the desk is 12.5"; ledge is approximately 2.5" deep. Height-adjustable: the distance from the lip of the desk to the floor ranges from 26"-48"; maximum overall height of 60.5".Some assembly required.
