(More customer reviews)I've experimented over the past few years with various LED "bulbs" for home lighting and was usually disappointed. This one, although expensive, works nicely in a regular lamp with a typical lamp shade. At just 12 watts, it should pay for itself in a few years in energy savings. The color is warm white, like a tungsten filament bulb, not at all blueish. Seems to my eye, like a standard 40 watt bulb.
