(More customer reviews)This bad boys are bright, and stay bright for a LONG time. they're also pretty cheep, I've never been let down by D'addario strings. I always get the tone I expected out of them, which they sum it up pretty well in the top right corner (super Bright for the prosteels). all in all, if you're a bass player who likes his or her tone, and doesn't have $30-35 bucks to throw at a set of DR low riders, these are the strings for you.
