(More customer reviews)Very pleased trying these strings for the first time. They've provided more volume, sustain and bass than I've had with 4 different sets of strings on my Seagull Folk Cedar. Nice for fingerstyle playing. I really like the sound of the four wound strings (notes really sing out), but the B and high E strings can sound a little tinny if you don't hit them just right. Not as sweet sounding as D'Addario lights. Don't love the sound when strummed, but my guitar has never sounded great when strummed hard--the character of this guitar's smaller body and cedar top.
