(More customer reviews)I'm a professional player here in the Dallas area, and I've used Elixirs since they came out several years ago. They sound great, but the real key is, they retain their sustain and tone MUCH longer than any other strings out there, including other coated strings, like the D'Addario EXPs, which begin to sound dead in about 1/3 the time of Elixirs.
